Founder + Owner
At age 30, Melissa stepped into her athletic abilities and has since completed many marathon and triathlon road races. She was introduced to indoor cycling 15 years ago and has been hooked ever since! After becoming a Spinning® brand instructor, she found her purpose and passion as she witnessed her riders become the best versions of themselves both physically and mentally. She holds certifications as a Spinning® brand instructor, a 200 hour certified yoga teacher, as well as a BA from Colorado State University. Originally from New England, she has a love of the mountains and is an avid skier, hiker and road cyclist. She lives in Breckenridge with her husband, Richard, daughter, Sierra and ginger cat, Luigi. Her other daughter, Maya, and sons, Cole and Will, have ventured into the world of adulthood.
Cara moved to the mountains 4 years ago from Pittsburgh with her husband to pursue her passions for all things outdoors. She has been an avid athlete and runner her whole life. After completing several half marathons and a full, she suffered an injury due to running and knew there had to be something else out there to give her the same satisfaction and “runners high”. All it took was one cycling class and Cara was hooked, 8 years later her cycling passion continues to grow. As a certified Spinning® brand instructor and 200 hour yoga teacher, Cara likes to focus on building your mind, breath, and body connection in class while rocking out to some amazing jams.
Q & A with Cara
My favorite music genre or artist is all things 80s, hip-hop, pretty much anything I can dance to and sing at the top of my lungs.
If I wasn't so damn good at my job I'd probably be the proud owner of a Kitty Café, Yoga Studio, and Puppy Ice Cream Parlor all combined into one.
If I could invent a holiday it would definitely involve wine, seafood, and lots of music.
If I won the lottery tomorrow I'd start an animal adoption agency tied in with a fitness center so we could have kitty/puppy/goat yoga all day everyday. And, you know, keep working here.
Kelly is an avid road biker with a great deal of indoor cycling experience. She has completed a couple half marathons since moving to Colorado 19 years ago but found her passion on the road bike. Most recently she completed the Elephant Rock Ride as well as the Copper Triangle this past summer. Always working towards balance and being the best version of herself she is looking forward to being a part of the team of instructors at Psycle 9600. She has a BA from Southwest Missouri State and currently resides in Frisco.

Sarah was a competitive dancer for most of her life before transferring her energy into all things fitness and yoga in her early 20’s. Although she’s originally from Texas, her love for the great outdoors and the call of the mountains drew her to Fort Collins to attend CSU. She discovered indoor cycling while attending CSU and was instantly addicted to the atmosphere and workout. She holds certifications as a Spinning® brand instructor, 200-hour yoga teacher, and Yoga Sculpt. The other half of her career lies in marketing for a nutrition company. She spends her free time exploring the outdoors on her snowboard, mountain bike, or by foot with her doodles Ralphie and Sydney.
Q&A with Sarah
My favorite music genre is: I enjoy all genres of music but hip-hop is definitely up there (various artists), Stevie Nicks, and Led Zeppelin.
If I wasn’t so damn good at my job I’d probably be: Well, I am already carving out a path in the industries of my dream and living in the mountains in a town that I have loved since I was a kid. I’d say I am creating my dreams and of course I would always work here!
If I could invent a holiday it would definitely involve: snowboarding, dogs, and mezcal.
If I won the lottery tomorrow I’d: start an organic wellness cafe, become a nutritionist and continue to progress as a fitness instructor. Of course, I would have to buy a place somewhere tropical where I can enjoy the beach life from time to time. And you know, keep working here.
Kat is a passionate athlete with a thirst for adventure and seeking "the good stuff” in life. After running track at the collegiate level, her body felt used up at the ripe old age of 21 - and she knew there had to be something else that gave her that same runner’s high.
Kat found yoga shortly thereafter, which became the driving force of her life, empowering her to finally quit her corporate job in 2014 to pursue teaching full time. Kat is also a triathlete, a fierce competitor and a wannabe cyclist - which is where her love for spinning comes in! Her classes combine killer music with a challenging workout - ALWAYS with a focus of having fun, and not taking life too seriously.
